Tam Trip ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Tam Trip mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information. When you sign in using Google or Apple Sign-In, we receive your name, email address, and profile identifier. We do not receive or store your password.

Location Data. The App collects your device's location to show your position on the map, discover nearby places, and track your trips in Travel Mode. Location may be collected in the background when Travel Mode is active. You can disable location access at any time through your device settings.

Trip & Places Data. Information you create within the App — such as trips, saved places, bookmarks, and routes — is stored to provide the service and sync across your devices.

Usage & Analytics. We collect anonymous usage data (e.g., screens visited, feature usage) through Firebase Analytics to improve the App. This data is not linked to your identity.

Crash Reports. We use Firebase Crashlytics and Sentry to collect crash logs and diagnostic data to identify and fix bugs.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App's features
• Display your location on the map and build routes
• Sync your trips and saved places across devices
• Send you service-related notifications (if enabled)
• Monitor App stability and fix crashes
• Analyze aggregated usage trends to improve the user experience

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with the following third-party services solely to operate the App:

• Firebase (Google) — authentication, analytics, crash reporting
• Sentry — error tracking and crash reporting
• Google Maps / Apple Maps — map display and place search

These services have their own privacy policies governing data they process.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers and on your device. We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure authentication tokens. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and trip data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal data
• Withdraw consent for location tracking at any time
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format
• Object to data processing for analytics purposes
